- Abraham Lincoln never fought vampires or zombies
- Adolph Hitler was not machine gunned to death in a movie theater in Paris
- Marty McFly did not invent Rock and Roll
- Richard Nixon never dispatched Dr. Manhattan to end the Vietnam War
You never complained about these changes to history, so shut the fuck up about a black man playing a fictional spy, you idiotic, racist pricks.
Daaaaaamn I fucking love Banksy.
what a cock
wow imagine real human beings wanting a bit of attention. imagine real humans beings wanting to connect and communicate with others. wow. what an atrocity. damn all this modern technology.
This piece is just so interesting
I’ve played through this game more times than I can count, how is it I’m just now noticing this fantastic little detail?
When you see it…
I stared at this for almost ten minutes before i figured it out
I’ll see myself out
this always freaked the fuck out of me
Oh my gosh!
This is something that slips past the Western viewers- it looks like it’s reaching out for Chihiro, in a malicious way, to the Western viewers. It’s what I thought growing up.
However, now, that I know that it’s a way of signalling for someone to ‘Come here!’ in Japan, the scene takes on a whole new meaning.
That spirit knows that if Chihiro doesn’t eat the food, she will disappear. And it knows if it offers the food, she cannot be cursed as a gluttonous pig because it wouldn’t have been stolen.
Just a unique take when you have all of the context.
And also, the red lanterns spell out ‘おいで’ which translates to “Come here” or “Come in” :)
